Why am I not getting interviews?
When application after application goes quiet, the reason is usually not you. It's what a screener can see in the first minute. These are the common causes, and one free check shows which apply to you for a real job.

The usual reasons applications stall
A must-have isn't visible on your resume
You may have the skill, but if the resume never shows it, a screener has to assume you don't. Must-haves that are missing, or only implied, are one of the most common reasons for a fast no.
Your lines describe duties, not proof
"Responsible for reporting" says what the job was. "Cut the weekly report from 6 hours to 25 minutes" shows you did it well. Screeners look for evidence: tools, numbers, outcomes.
The posting's own words aren't there
Recruiters and applicant tracking systems search for the terms the job uses. If the job says "stakeholder reporting" and your resume says "presentations", the match can be missed even when the experience is the same.
The level doesn't line up
Applying well above your years of experience, or well below them, both get filtered. A role one step up is realistic; three steps usually isn't.
Location or work authorisation rules you out
Many roles screen on location, time zone or right to work before anyone reads the rest. It's worth checking before you spend time tailoring.
The same resume goes to every job
A general resume undersells you for each specific role. The strongest applications lead with what that one job asks for first.

- Is this an ATS keyword score?
- No. Work-ly reads each requirement and looks for real evidence on your resume, quoting it. A keyword count can't tell a real match from a listed buzzword.
- Will it tell me my chances of getting hired?
- No, and nothing honest can. Candidate Fit measures how well your resume shows the job's requirements, which is the part you control.
